Why Some People Feel They Can Not Live Without Televisions
When I was young, my mother use to tell me that there was a day when people had no televisions. Even on this very day I imagine what it would be like without them. I love movies and I am very particular about them and I would not know what to do if I did not have a television.
I think if I lived in the day when there was not a television to watch, I would have been very bored. Some times I think they are over rated because of the fact that they have the attention of everyone all the time and there are a lot of people who only want to sit in front of the television while they are eating and this in turn makes people obese.
A lot of people think that since I have the time to watch television then I have time to read but this is not so because while I am watching or listening to the news I am also folding laundry and doing other various things.
There are some people who are stick in their house and can not get outside and the only thing they have to do is watch television. I would not know what to do if I did not have a television to watch while I was on bed rest during my pregnancy. I think I might have gone insane because books eventually got tiring to me.
The cheapest television I have ever seen is one that cost one hundred and eighteen dollars and it was a nineteen inch flat screen. This was a great price, but it was only because it was on sale for the Holidays.
The best time to buy is during the holidays because most companies are selling things at a pretty cheap price because they are trying to get rid of their inventory before the new year. A lot of people do not have a television in their home because they do not believe they should have one.
Some people can not have a television in their home because they do not believe in having electricity. Some people will not have one in their home because they do not want their children watching the nasty things that are put on television. I allow my son to watch television because I think it can help him learn about things in the world, but there are certain things I will not allow him to watch at his young age. When you are buying a television it is best to get one that is new so that you can make sure it is not all worn out.
